Take the family on a horseback tour of the region or grab a bike and ride near heritage classified rivers along the Great Victorian Rail Trail. If lake fishing isn’t your thing or you just love chasing trout in rivers then it’s hard to go past the Goulburn River below Lake Eildon. It’s one of the state’s best freshwater fisheries for brown and rainbow trout with plenty of good access from the bank, particularly at road bridges.
