Compliance statistics 2022-23

The Victorian Fisheries Authority collects annual compliance statistics to report to the general public and our stakeholders. The statistics provide an overview of our annual compliance priorities and results from enforcement activities carried out in Victoria by Fisheries Officers.

Numbers of fisheries inspections undertaken

Fisheries Officers have conducted more than 47,200 inspections during the period between 1 July 2022 and 30 June 2023.
