Compliance statistics 2023-24

The Victorian Fisheries Authority collects annual compliance statistics to report to the general public and our stakeholders. The statistics provide an overview of our annual compliance priorities and results from enforcement activities carried out in Victoria by Fisheries Officers.

Numbers of fisheries inspections undertaken

Fisheries Officers conducted close to 44,000 inspections during the period between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2024.
