Compliance statistics 2024-25

The Victorian Fisheries Authority collects annual compliance statistics to report to the general public and our stakeholders. The statistics provide an overview of our annual compliance priorities and results from enforcement activities carried out in Victoria by Fisheries Officers.

Numbers of fisheries inspections undertaken

Fisheries Officers conducted over 28,000 inspections between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2025.
