Pigs Point: The road to, and parking access at this site is good and can be accessed in a 2WD vehicle in any weather conditions. The bank slopes are moderate to flat and access to the water is good. Camping is permitted and facilities include a toilet, picnic tables and fireplace/BBQ. The turn off to this site is 13.5km south of the Tallangatta Police Station along the Omeo Highway. The target species are Murray cod, yellowbelly, trout and redfin.

2. Peters Bridge

Peter’s Bridge: The road to, and parking at this site is good and can be accessed in a 2WD vehicle in any weather. The bank slope is steep and access to the water is poor, but there is a stile in the fence that may open this area up to better fishing. There are picnic tables and a fireplace/BBQ. The turn off to this site is 31km south of the Tallangatta Police Station along the Omeo Highway. The target species are Murray cod, yellowbelly, trout and redfin.

3. Ellis Bridge

Ellis Bridge: The road to, and parking at this site is good and can be accessed in a 2WD vehicle in any weather conditions. The bank slope is steep and the access to the water at this site is poor. There are picnic tables and fireplace/BBQ at this site. The turn off to this site is 32.5km south of the Tallangatta Police Station along the Omeo Highway. Take Hagerty Lane for 500m. The target species are Murray cod, yellowbelly, trout and redfin.

4. Tallandoon

Tallandoon: The road to this site is accessible in a 2WD vehicle in any weather conditions, however access to and parking at this site should only be done in a 2WD vehicle in dry weather conditions. The bank slope is flat and the access to the water is good. This site has picnic tables and fireplace/BBQ. The turn off to this site is located 37.8km south of the Tallangatta Police Station along the Omeo Highway. The target species are trout and redfin.

5. The Mill Picnic Area

The Mill Picnic Area: The road to this site is accessible in a 2WD vehicle in any weather condition, however access and parking can only be done in a 2WD vehicle in dry weather. The bank slope and access to the water is moderate. There are picnic tables and fireplace/BBQ at this site. The turn off to this site is 59.8km south of the Tallangatta Police Station along the Omeo Highway. The access point (or parking) is a further 50m from that turn off. The target species are trout and redfin.

6. Mitta-Mitta

Mitta-Mitta: The road to, and parking at this site is very good and can be accessed in a 2WD vehicle in any weather conditions. The bank slope is moderate to flat and the access to the water is good. This site has toilets, picnic tables and fireplace/BBQ. The turn off to this site is located in the Mitta-Mitta township and is located 61.7km south of the Tallangatta Police Station along the Omeo Highway. The target species are trout and redfin.

Pig Gully: The road to this site is accessible in a 2WD vehicle in dry weather conditions, however access and parking at this site should only be attempted in a 4WD vehicle. The bank slope is moderate to steep, with the access to the water being hard. Camping is permitted. The turn off is located 7km south of the Dartmouth Road turnoff, along the Omeo Highway and 50m from the turn off. The target species are trout and redfin.

8. Stony Creek 1

Pig Gully: The road to this site is accessible in a 2WD vehicle in dry weather conditions, however access and parking at this site should only be attempted in a 4WD vehicle. The bank slope is moderate to steep, with the access to the water being hard. Camping is permitted. The turn off is located 7km south of the Dartmouth Road turnoff, along the Omeo Highway and 50m from the turn off. The target species are trout and redfin.

9. Stony Creek 2

Stony Creek 2: The road to, and parking at this site is good and can be accessed in a 2WD vehicle in dry weather conditions. The bank slope is moderate to flat and the access to the water at this site is good. There is a fireplace/BBQ and camping is permitted. The turn off to this site is 10km south of the Dartmouth Road turnoff, along the Omeo Highway. The target species are trout and redfin.

10. Holloway Log Road

Holloway Log Road: The road to this site is accessible in a 2WD
vehicle in any weather condition, however access and parking at
this site should only be attempted by a 4WD vehicle. The bank
slope is flat and the access to the water at this site is moderate.
Facilities include camping, toilet, picnic tables and fireplace/BBQ.
The turn off to this site is 14km south of the Dartmouth Road
turnoff, along the Omeo Highway. The access point (or parking) is
a further 1.5km from the turn off. The target species are trout and redfin.

11. Walnuts

The bank slopes are both flat and steep and the access to the water is easy to moderate. Facilities include camping, toilet, picnic tables and fireplace/BBQ. Camping is also permitted. The turn off to this is located 16.5km south of the Dartmouth Road turnoff, along the Omeo Highway. The target species are trout and redfin.

The bank slope and access to the water is moderate. There are picnic tables and fireplace/BBQ at this site. The turn off to this site is 59.8km south of the Tallangatta Police Station along the Omeo Highway. The access point (or parking) is a further 50m from that turn off. The target species are trout and redfin.

23. Mitta-Mitta

Mitta-Mitta: The road to, and parking at this site is very good and can be accessed in a 2WD vehicle in any weather conditions. The bank slope is moderate to flat and the access to the water is good. This site has toilets, picnic tables and fireplace/BBQ. The turn off to this site is located in the Mitta-Mitta township and is located 61.7km south of the Tallangatta Police Station along the Omeo Highway. The target species are trout and redfin.
