Rocklands Metery Competition

Our Rocklands Metery competition has been run and won!

A big congratulations to Luke Smith, who landed this 101.5cm Murray cod just over a year into the competition - a year and two days after it opened, to be precise.

We’ve stocked over 2.7 million cod into Rocklands since 2017 and lots of those have grown up and are now getting caught. They’re on top of nearly 1.5 million golden perch we’ve stocked too, by the way!

There’s still prizes on offer at Rocklands as part of the VFA’s Golden Tag competition. Five tagged fish are swimming in the reservoir – three Murray cod with tags worth $2000, a golden perch with a $2000 tag and one cod that will net a lucky fisher a huge $10,000.

With free camping at several campgrounds, improving native fishing and the chance to win up to $10,000 by wetting a line, now’s as good a time as any to plan a summer holiday to Rocklands.
