National Gone Fishing Day

Gone Fishing Day is an annual event encouraging Australians to get out on the water with family and friends to celebrate our love of fishing.

It doesn't matter if you haven't fished before, Gone Fishing Day is for everyone!

This year's event is in the rear-view mirror, but it'll return in 2026. Keep an eye on the Australian Recreational Fishing Foundation's website for event details.
