Join us for our annual Snobs Creek Hatchery Open Day!

This is a great opportunity for the public to tour the facility, ask questions of expert staff, feed trout, check out our new conservation hatchery and the brand-new, completed Macquarie Perch Recovery Centre.

Snobs Creek opened in 1948 and now produces everything from the iconic Murray cod to threatened trout cod and Macquarie perch, as well as brown and rainbow trout and Chinook salmon. This event is your exclusive opportunity to tour the hatchery, which is usually closed to the public, at your own pace.

There'll also be dedicated experts on hand to guide you through this special place while answering all your questions about the growing and stocking of trout and native fish species all across Victoria.

There will be fun and exciting activities for the whole family, including:
