Fisheries Cost Recovery Standing Committee
Fisheries Cost Recovery Standing Committee (FCRSC)
The Government is committed to a transparent cost recovery process whereby experts with knowledge and functional understanding of aquaculture and wild catch fisheries can critically review and advise on issues pertaining to cost recovery, including the identification and apportioning of recoverable fisheries management services costs to commercial fishers and aquaculture.
The Fisheries Cost Recovery Standing Committee (FCRSC) has been established to help facilitate the implementation. The FCRSC operates under a Terms of Reference and is formed by members of industry and Government. The Minister for Agriculture endorsed the current Terms of Reference in April 2016.
