Victorian Rock Lobster Fishery 2026/27 Total Allowable Commercial Catch

Consultation Plan 2026

To seek feedback on the proposed management arrangements and total allowable commercial catch (TACC) for the Victorian Rock Lobster Fishery in the 2026/27 quota period.

Advisory meetings will be held with Victorian Rock Lobster Fishery commercial stakeholders during this period.

Consultation on these arrangements will close 19 April 2026.

The draft FQO outlines the proposed TACC in the fishery for the 2026/27 season.

Draft Further Quota Order for Snapper 2026/27

The draft Fisheries Notice proposes:

- 2 tonne per licence of combined catch for species other than snapper and shark.

- 1 tonne per licence of gummy or school shark.

- Zero catch of King George whiting, calamari, kingfish and mulloway.
