Fisheries (Further Corner Inlet Fishery) Notice 2022 (PDF - 221.2 KB)

To seek feedback on the draft Fisheries (Further Corner Inlet Fishery) Notice 2022 (PDF - 200.6 KB) , which has a proposed implementation date of 20 June 2022.

It is proposed this will replace two existing Notices including:

- The Fisheries (Corner Inlet Fishery) Notice 2021 (which is automatically revoked on 20 June 2022), and

- The Fisheries (Corner Inlet Fishery) Notice 2022

The draft Notice is designed to extend these current management arrangements for up to a further 12 months (unless sooner revoked), consolidating the existing rules into one instrument. In effect, there is no change proposed to the current commercial fishing management arrangements.

Any submissions received in relation to the consultation being conducted by the VFA will be published on the VFA’s website. In making a submission, unless the person making the submission indicates to the contrary, they will be consenting to their submission, including their name, being published on the VFA’s website for 90 days or more from the conclusion of the consultative process.

To seek feedback on the draft Fisheries (Management of Lake Hume) Notice 2022 (PDF - 206.7 KB) in accordance with Section 3A of the Fisheries Act 1995.

Any submissions received in relation to the consultation being conducted by the VFA will be published on the VFA’s website.
