Compliance statistics 2021-2022
The Victorian Fisheries Authority collects annual compliance statistics to report to the general public and our stakeholders. The statistics provide an overview of our annual compliance priorities and results from enforcement activities carried out in Victoria by Fisheries Officers.
Numbers of fisheries inspections undertaken
Fisheries Officers again conducted more than 45,800 inspections during the period between 1 July 2021 and 30 June 2022.
The below table details the number of inspections and enforcement outcomes summarised by fishing sector conducted by Fisheries Officers between 1 July 2021 and 30 June 2022.
