Stronger Fishing Clubs - Defibrillator grants program

The Government's Target One Million plan to get more Victorian's fishing more often includes a Defibrillators for Fishing Clubs program. As a part of the Stronger Fishing Club grants program, eligible angling clubs were provided an opportunity to acquire an automated external defibrillator (also known as AED). The Defibrillators for Fishing Clubs program accepted applications from May 2017 and closed on 12 August 2018.

Successful recipients of the program received a 'defibrillator package'. The package includes a high quality defibrillator, basic defibrillator and first aid training, and five years of essential maintenance. This package will be provided by a qualified contractor engaged by The Victorian Fisheries Authority.
